Photos 15 & 16 – Free Art

by in art, photography, vancouver

The next 2 photos are a set. Probably only those that live in Vancouver know that these belong together.  The colosseum-like building that takes up one city block in downtown is the beautiful Vancouver Central Library.  Just outside the library you will find this light installation by Vancouver artist, Ron Terada.

I am using this free artwork project to connect with people from around the world, share my photography and hopefully brighten someone’s day by bringing something online to life, to someone’s hands, eyes and home.

If you would like to have an original print of this photo (4″x 6″) sent to you or a friend by mail for free leave a comment below telling me which country you live in. One commenter will be selected to receive this print by post. Yayyy, FREE ART!

  1. From Amber Hunt:

I’ve actually been to this library. Didn’t see any of that blue sky, though- we spent a week in Vancouver several years ago; Dave was attending a dragon boat conference, and I sent the days wandering around West Vancouver, looking for bookstores and trying not to get lost 🙂 thanks for posting this one- it brought back lots of memories from that adventure!

One of my friend told me about it and he showed me some more picture than this post. Anyway, it’s great to see above pic and the written text for second pic is expressing the great photography.
